Notice from the Committee

Would all members please note that as from 17th June we intend to

try to restart our section competitions.

There are a number of qualifying points that must be adhered to at

the present time.

a )     At present all the games will be played off the 1st tee.

b )     In order to enter a competition you should prior book onto the

Forrester Park club BRS booking system between the times of

07.00am to 09.30am on a specific Wednesday, an allocated

period for the Vets, which will be used as a tick list of members

wanting to play in the competition on the day. If you are unable to

access or use the club booking system for any reason, contact

Ron Stovell, by email preferably, who will endeavor to ensure are

entered into the competition.

c )     Prior to the competition date Ron Stovell will put the entered names

into our normal competition draw and produce a competition sheet

which will be put onto our Vets website in the normal manner.

These are the tee times that should be used on the day .

d )     On the day, we will endeavor to have cards available for you to use.

Because we do not have access to the normal club cards, these will

be printed off from the Forrester Park club website, you could ensure

you have a card by printing one off yourselves.

i )       Please put two members scores, on one card, please ensure

that you clearly print the names.

ii )      You do not have to mark the card , verbally agree the scores with

your partners.

iii )     We have been advised, that Golf England states, that cards should not be

collected after the round of golf. Could a member or members of each

group either photograph the two cards and email them to Harry Whiteman

or note the individual hole scores for each players round and email them.

In order to run the competition correctly, it is important that Harry

receives all individual competitors scores, otherwise they will not be included

in the results.

iv )     There are no tee markers and we are suggesting teeing off 5 yards

back from the front  edge of the tee.

vi )     You can either play out of bunkers as it lies or drop out in line with the flag.

Please observe social distancing at all times.

Please be aware that we are feeling our way at present and be patient if any

problems occur.
